Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) continues to achieve remarkable milestones in engineering education.
According to the 2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings, Missouri S&T’s undergraduate civil engineering program is ranked 31st in the nation. Notably, this distinction makes its civil engineering program the only undergraduate engineering program in Missouri public universities to receive an individual program ranking in this prestigious report. This puts us in a very elite position, and continues the tradition that began over twenty years ago when we were first recognized in this fashion.
This recognition reflects a consistent trajectory of excellence, with Missouri S&T’s graduate civil engineering program climbing to 42nd nationally, a notable rise from 51st last year. Similarly, the graduate environmental engineering program has shown significant progress, advancing to 47th nationally, up from 54th the previous year. These achievements highlight Missouri S&T’s unwavering commitment to education and research excellence.
We are immensely proud of this recognition, which reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of our exceptional faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
