Improving Access to SNAP

Open sessions to help families understand and navigate the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Improving Access to SNAP

In partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Gateway Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)  Community Coalition, and the St. Louis Area Food Bank, the UMSL School of Social Work invites eligible families to participate in the Improving Access to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program initiative.

Program Participation

Are you or someone you know interested in participating in SNAP? If you can answer yes to these questions, you may be eligible to participate in the study.

Eligibility :

  • Are you eligible for the earned income tax credit (EITC)?
  • Do you have any children (0-8) living with you?

Complete a 15-minute survey about Your Household’s Food needs and receive $40 for your time & a chance to earn more.
