The UMKC Music Theory Workshop is particularly ideal for 12th-grade students who would like a refresher on music theory skills before starting their first year as a music major, or 11th graders who would like a jump-start on the concepts and material they will learn in their first year in college. This engaging and informative UMKC Music Theory Workshop will cover the fundamentals of theory (e.g., scales, keys, intervals, chords) while also providing students with a better understanding of what collegiate music theory courses will entail.
The Music Theory Workshop will take place in a hybrid format June 21 – 25, 2021.
Tuition includes all classes and scheduled events during the workshop.
