Missouri S&T geoscience and education professors are excited to offer this workshop to middle and high school science teachers and informal educators. At the workshop, you will participate in hands-on, outdoor STEM activities that you can implement with your students on a field trip. After participating in the workshop, you'll receive free equipment and a funded field trip for your students! You can also receive a $1,000 stipend if you complete all surveys and have your students take a pre- and post-assessment on their geoscience knowledge and career awareness. These workshops are funded by the National Science Foundation Geopaths program. (This grant is only for those who work with middle or high school students, so we can't fund elementary teachers at this time). Workshops will run from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Our workshop dates and locations are as follows:
May 31 (Friday) St. Louis - Castlewood State Park, 1401 Kiefer Creek Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021
