In a grassroots effort to advance social justice and racial equity, a small group of Kansas Citians launched the nation’s largest street murals project. KC Art on the Block included six Black Lives Matter murals across Kansas City, six distinct designs by local African-American artists, 1,000 volunteers, and 1,200 gallons of paint.
