Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology Program

The Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology Program at MU’s College of Veterinary Medicine has formulated articulation agreements with all 5 of the active veterinary technology program in the state of Missouri and 10 more across the US. These articulation agreements provide a pathway for registered veterinary technicians to transfer their associate’s degree to Mizzou and then finish a bachelor’s degree in their chosen profession.

Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology Program

The Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology Program at MU's College of Veterinary Medicine has formulated articulation agreements with all 5 of the active veterinary technology program in the state of Missouri and 10 more across the US. These articulation agreements provide a pathway for registered veterinary technicians to transfer their associate's degree to Mizzou and then finish a bachelor's degree in their chosen profession.

The current vet tech education landscape primarily focuses on associate-level education and leaves 33 states, including Missouri, with no in-state bachelor-level option available, and even fewer options for RVTs that chose to remain in the workforce. Mizzou is excited to offer this new opportunity to our hard working veterinary technicians.
