The Campus Performing Arts Series is back at Missouri S&T, and this season brings everything from Bollywood dancing to Hollywood classics. Season ticket packages are on sale now. Full season subscriptions are available, as well as a curated three-show package.
This year's Campus Performing Arts Series includes:
- "Bollywood Live!," Friday, Sept. 19. A celebration of music, movement and culture that showcases Bollywood, belly dance, and cirque-style Indian-themed aerial and stilt performances.
- "Singin' in the Rain," Thursday, Oct. 16-Sunday, Oct. 19. This golden-age Hollywood musical comes to life on stage, performed by Missouri S&T theater students.
- The Bach Society of Saint Louis, Saturday Nov. 15. Marking its 85th season this year, St. Louis' oldest continuous choral society will perform a mix of choral classics and holiday favorites.
- “Christmas in Taylorville,” Saturday, Nov. 29. This tribute to Taylor Swift returns to Leach Theatre with performances of Swift's biggest hits and some holiday classics.
- OKCello, Friday, Feb. 20. Okorie “OkCello" Johnson blends the traditions of the African Diaspora with contemporary soundscapes using improvisation, looping and storytelling to redefine what a cello performance can be.
- “Wizard of Oz on Ice,” Friday, March 6. This new adaptation from Ice Creative Entertainment brings the wonder of Oz and the magic of figure skating together on a synthetic ice rink.
Two season ticket packages are available. Prices will depend on seat location. The full Season Subscription Package includes all six performances, and the Enchanted Evenings Package includes “Bollywood Live!,” “Christmas in Taylorville” and “Wizard of Oz on Ice.” Discounts are available for Missouri S&T students. Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office, located inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
