The Pierre Laclede Honors College invited five speakers to engage the honors students on a discussion on race and the importance of activism in the past and present. The speaker series served to compliment the book, Freedom is a Constant Struggle by Angela Davis, which served as the common read book for the university freshmen.

recurring: Each speaker was scheduled for a specific day and the students had an opportunity to sign up for more than one person if there was space.
