The Whitney R. Harris Center brings back its annual Whitney and Anna Harris Conservation Forum. This year, the event is part of the Indigenous Knowledge and Sustainability (IKS) Series, a multiday collaborative event between UMSL's Whitney R. Harris Center, Saint Louis Zoo, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Missouri Botanical Garden, and WashU's Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies. Our theme is bison and the Buffalo Treaty, bringing in Indigenous experts from the US and Canada who will be covering the cultural, economic, environmental, and health significance of bison and the Buffalo Treaty. Dinner will be provided by the Harris Center.
Free event. Registration is required.
Each registration comes with the option of a free meal.
