Spooky Halloween Crafts!
The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures, housed on the UMKC Volker Campus, boasts the world’s largest fine-scale miniature collection and one of the nation’s largest historic toy collections on public display. T/m’s collection currently numbers more than 94,000 objects – and counting.
Come celebrate “All Things Youth” during UMKC Engagement Month at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures! On Saturday, October 7th, 1 – 4 pm, and Thursday, October 12th, 1 – 4 pm, create a Creepy Crawler (gummy, bug-inspired toys dating back to the 1960s) with Kansas City-based artist, Just Colcord, and make your October just a little more spooky. Drop-in participation is FREE with museum admission. (And museum admission is always free for UMKC students, faculty, and staff with a Roo Card!).
