Missouri S&T invites campus and community members to attend a special lecture celebrating the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics. Dr. Thomas Vojta, chair and professor of physics, will present “Quantum mechanics in the palm of your hand,” offering a clear and compelling explanation of this year’s groundbreaking discoveries. The event will be held 4–5 p.m. Thursday, December 4, in Room 104 Physics Building, with refreshments served at 3:40 p.m. This free lecture is open to the public and designed to engage interested undergraduate students and lifelong learners alike. Now in its 20th year, the Nobel Lecture tradition continues to highlight Missouri S&T’s commitment to making cutting-edge research accessible and inspiring to all.
