Hungry for Trivia: A Hungry for MO Season 2 Launch Party

UPDATE: Well, hot dog! You really are Hungry for Trivia! We are excited to let you know this event reached capacity. If you opted to sign up your team in advance, we have room for you, but no walk-in players will be accepted the night of the event. We thank all for your interest in playing and look forward to bringing you a fun and interactive event to celebrate the second season of Hungry for MO podcast dropping in late November.

Do you know the name of the Missourian with the nickname "the peanut guy?" Can you name the Kansas City company that introduced the crock-pot? Did you know that two Missourians helped save the global wine industry?

Here's a chance for all you foodies, trivia buffs, food historians, and those who just like to eat to rejoice and connect over a friendly game of trivia that will test your knowledge of food-related topics! Join KCUR's Natasha Bailey and Jenny Vergara on October 19 at Casual Animal Brewery for a Trivia Launch Party for Season Two of "Hungry for MO," a podcast that brings you the stories behind iconic foods in the state of Missouri.

We've got food trivia ready to serve alongside a preview of what to expect in the second season. And $2 from every pint of Casual Animal's The Local Motive beer (a cold IPA!) purchased goes back to support KCUR programming.

The first five teams to register will have a spot held for them. Additional Teams will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no entry fee, but we recommend bringing one non-perishable food item per contestant to be donated to UMKC's Kangaroo Pantry at the Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal CARE Center.

This program is made possible in partnership with KCUR 89.3, UMKC, and Missouri Humanities.
