Indigenous Knowledge & Sustainability Film Festival featuring “Singing Back the Buffalo” and “Iniskim: Return of the Buffalo”

Indigenous Knowledge & Sustainability Film Festival featuring “Singing Back the Buffalo” and “Iniskim: Return of the Buffalo”

The community is invited to a special, free film screening of the captivating documentaries "Singing Back the Buffalo" and "Iniskim- Return of the Buffalo." Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Native Americans as they share their stories of rematriating the buffalo to the heart of the North American plains. A panel discussion with Amethyst First Rider, Leroy Little Bear, and Wes Olsen will follow the film screening. This in-person event promises to be a unique and enlightening experience for all attendees.


Film Screening Itinerary

5:30PM- Doors Open

6:00PM- Buder Center Welcome

6:10PM- Showing of Singing Back the Buffalo (1 hour 39 minutes)

7:50PM- Intermission

8:00PM- Showing of Iniskim- Return of the Buffalo (39 minutes)

8:40PM- Panel Discussion with Amethyst First Rider, Leroy Little Bear, and Wes Olsen

9:30PM- Event Concludes


Cost: Free, but reservations are required
