A STEM capable workforce is integral to fostering the innovation needed for prosperity in Kansas City. This conference hosted by UMKC is meant to be a collaboration of researchers and professionals to design and implement STEM education improvements.
Educational research data and collaborative problem solving are key to addressing challenges faced by schools and society. In this conference, we hope to develop an ecosystem model using factors which influence STEM education research locally. We would like to use this data to improve technologies and teaching methods for a diverse group of STEM students.
