Irish America: Past, Present, and Future is a 2-day Symposium in honor of Charles Fanning. The event features Keynote Speakers including Alice McDermott and Terence Winch. Presentations are by writers, scholars, and musicians from the United States and Ireland on many aspects of Irish American culture and history.

There will be a reception sponsored by the Webster Groves Public Library, the Center for Irish Studies at the University of St. Thomas/Minnesota, and the Smurfit-Stone Corporation Professorship in Irish Studies/UMSL Global.
