- Agriculture Education on the Move: Agriculture Education on the Move is an educational program that teaches elementary students about where their food comes from. The 10- week hands on program is delivered by passionate educators visiting classrooms statewide. The program introduces all aspects of Missouri agriculture while identifying key classroom objectives and meets standards primarily in the areas of science, math, reading, and writing. Find out how to partner with AEOTM to utilize this free program in your area!
- Intentional Approaches in a Powerful College and Career Pathways Ecology: Extension professionals can tap into long-term strategic impacts through youth college and career preparation practices in everyday extension programming. This session presents an ecological view of youth postsecondary pathways and a conceptual framework for youth career decision-making and success. Such are the bases for simple and effective practices to ignite sparks, help remove barriers and prepare Missouri youth for an unpredictable yet exciting future.
- MOCAN: Join us to learn more about Missouri College and Career Attainment Network (MOCAN) and its plans to address college access, affordability and persistence. This session will also explore FREE resources available to high school counselors, advisers and community-based organizations through the Professional Development Institute and dive into MOCAN’s scholarship platform for students, My Scholarship Central.
