MU Extension Days of Service

As part of Extension and Engagement Week’s Days of Service, MU Extension is planning service activities all over the state! Find one near you and get in on the action!

Here's a snapshot of activities around the state!


Boone County:

Health and Wellness Fair at MU Family Impact Center in Columbia, from 1-5pm. Find out more, right here in Community Connect!


Carroll County:

On October 22, Carroll County Extension Council is going to provide doughnuts to all the local banks in Carroll County. The remaining 7 banks have been unsung heroes during COVID. These banks united to provide meals for students and seniors, volunteered, and working with the local County Chamber of Commerce to keep businesses viable and open.  


Gentry County:

The Gentry County council will be doing community service for engagement week by having a food drive. There will be drop off locations in each town in the county and at the end of October council members will collect the food and deliver to each of the food pantries in King City, Stanberry, and Albany


Montgomery County:

Extension Council is hosting a food drive, packaging NRG packs, and there will be a group walking event during lunch on Oct. 22.


Osage County:

October 22, find a mini health fair at Legends Bank Park in Linn. The health department will do blood pressure screenings and give flu shots, a chiropractor will be doing screenings, a local fitness center is doing BMI assessments and handing out 7-day free gym passes. Snacks and water will be available.


Warren County:

Blood Drive in Warrenton on October 5.
