Missouri S&T’s Student Well-Being and University Police will host a prescription take back event from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24- Havener Center Atrium, in recognition of the DEA’s National Take Back Day. Participants can safely dispose of expired or unused medications, learn about proper drug disposal, and pick up free resources such as locking caps, deactivation bags, and Narcan information. A 24/7 medication drop box is also available at the University Police Station, 205 W. 12th St.
