Join the Pott Waterways Library as we congratulate Melody Golding, 2023 recipient of the Donald T. Wright Award for her book "Life Between the Levees: America's Riverboat Pilots" and Gregg Andrews, recipient of the 2023 James V. Swift Medal for his book "Shantyboats and Roustabouts: The River Poor of St. Louis, 1875-1930."
There will be a pre-ceremony, river-themed tour of the Pencils on the Frontier exhibition starting at 12:45 pm, followed by the awards presentation at 1:30 pm. Stick around after the ceremony and enjoy light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres, plus a chance to chat with the authors!
