Students entering 9th through 12th grade in the fall of 2024 are welcome to join the Roo Honors Program this summer. They will participate in a Leadership Workshop, hear from the UMKC Trustees Scholarship program and Admissions staff, take field trips, and engage with other gifted students. This five-day camp will take place from June 10th to June 14th from 9AM - 4:30PM each day.
Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the campus. Lunch will be provided throughout the week. All students will receive a Roo Honors Academy t-shirt and those who successfully complete both courses will receive a Recognition of Achievement certificate from the UMKC Honors Program.

Tuition is $275; children of UMKC employees are eligible for a $20 discount. Need-based scholarships may be available. Participating students also have the option of spending the night in the UMKC dorms for the whole week. This option comes with an additional cost of $295 ($205 for room, $50 for dinners, and $40 for breakfasts).
