Join us for UMKC’s annual university-wide day of service and give back to our UMKC and Kansas City communities with other Roos! Transportation will be provided for volunteer opportunities outside of walking distance.
Volunteers will help support the mission of the organizations below. Sites will be pre-assigned. Projects include, and may not be limited to:
Tentative Schedule
12:30-1:00. Check-in
1:00-4:00. Formal welcome and instructions, followed by service projects
Tentative Location
Check-in takes place in the Miller Nichols Learning Center Lobby and room 151. Transportation will be provided, or we will walk to locations on campus and in the community.
All UMKC students must use UMKC-sanctioned transportation when traveling to service sites.
Volunteering/Projects
Volunteers help support the mission of the community organizations. Sites are be pre-assigned.
Please wear clothing appropriate for lifting, moving and working outside. Wear a UMKC T-shirt if you have one. We will be giving out t-shirts during check-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Closed-toed shoes are required.
