Saturday Morning Science: Seeing is believing … or is it? The use of photography in science

Dr. Kristin Schwain, MU professor of art history, takes a look at early 19th and 20th century photography and its relationship to science. Her talk touches on the evolution of its use and new visual imagery innovations in science and medicine.

Saturday Morning Science is not your typical science lecture. Expect to be entertained while learning and want to come back for more. Saturday Morning Science is free and open to the public. No science background is required and all ages are welcome.

All events will take place at Ragtag Cinema and begin at 10 am.
