Starlight Theater is Kansas City's Oldest and largest continually operating nonprofit performing arts organization. Providing live performances, community programs, and hosting thousands of guests in a theatre of nearly 8,000 seats, Starlight is a historic landmark nestled in the heart of the city- and now, the UMKC community can experience it anew at our first annual UMKC Night at Starlight!
Mark your calendars now for Saturday, September 21st, at 8:00 PM, and join us for a showing of the hit Broadway musical Peter Pan.
UMKC students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of UMKC constituent groups can receive 25% off regular admission tickets in levels 2-6 by using the Promo Code "UMKC" before selecting their seats.Tickets can be purchased now through the day of the performance.
Starlight has generously offered 250 additional tickets, 50% of which are available for those participating in the UMKC Family Weekend, September 20-22. Families who purchase tickets as part of their Family Weekend registration are invited to a pre-show reception at Starlight, which includes complimentary refreshments and opportunities to meet with leadership from UMKC and Starlight Theater.
You can learn more about how UMKC and Starlight Theater are working together to bring the arts to our community, including through internships like the one UMKC MBA student Roslinde Rivera recently completed.
