The UMSL Pre-Med Society and the American Red Cross have partnered to host a blood drive on April 28th from 11-3pm in the Recreation and Wellness Center. Our goal is to combat the critical shortage of compatible blood supplies for Sickle Cell patients that persists in our local community and across the nation. All blood types are needed and we welcome and encourage the participation of all students, faculty, and staff. The Red Cross is particularly looking for African-American donors who can be most closely matched to vulnerable sickle cell patients. All donors will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last) and a $20 Amazon gift card via email!
