THIS EVENT IS CURRENTLY SOLD OUT! MESSAGE NATE ADDINGTON AT NADDINGTON@UMKC.EDU TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITLIST
In the fall of 2023, UMKC's Division of External Relations, KCSourceLink and The Porter House KC collaborated on a new initiative called "The Little Desk." Together, they crafted five in-depth conversations featuring insights from rising players in the KC entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This fall, the conversations continue as part of GEWKC! You are invited to join a city-wide bus tour from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 and visit with entrepreneurs in their spaces to learn about essential topics tied to entrepreneurship, including navigating the ecosystem, working with the city on policy and regulation, maintaining a Main Street retail focus and the importance of community involvement and cultural preservation.
Participants must register for the event on the GEW Whova Page. Space is limited to 25 participants, and reservations are first-come-first-serve. Lunch will be provided during one of the stops.
