For more than a century, UMKC Conservatory has been a leader in creating Kansas City’s cultural riches and in extending UMKC's reach nationally and internationally. Each year, the conservatory produces around 500 performances, including student recitals, large ensembles, chamber music, main stage opera, choral concerts, dance, master classes, guest lecturers, theatre productions, and more. The best part? Most of the performances are free to the broader community.
October 1st: Conservatory Ensembles
At 7:00PM in Helzberg Hall, ensembles from the UMKC Conservatory will perform. With multiple instruments meshing together, this is bound to be a magnificent performance.
October 11th and October 12th: Jazz Combos
At 7:30PM in Grant Hall, students from the UMKC Conservatory will perform Jazz pieces. The origin of Jazz music is in blues and ragtime music, and it is seen as emotionally invoking. Get tickets here for October 11th. | Get tickets here for October 12th.
October 13th: Wind Ensemble
At 7:30 PM in White Hall, students playing Wind Instruments will perform together. These instruments include the flute, clarinet, and trumpet. Get tickets here.
October 16th: Orchestra
At 7:30PM in White Hall, an Orchestra will perform for the community. Orchestra's play moving music as so many instruments come together to create one music pieces with many distinct musical sounds combined. Get tickets here.
October 19th, 20th, 21st, and 23rd: Fall Dance

October 23rd: Campus Band
At 7:30PM in White Hall, the UMKC Campus Band will be performing. This concert features the entirety of UMKC's campus band and is sure to entice listeners. Get tickets here.
