Event
UMKC Day at the Kansas City Zoo

We're celebrating our new partnership with the Kansas City Zoo! Quick history lesson: our Roo identity originated from a kangaroo exhibit in the 1930s at the Kansas City Zoo, and Walt Disney even drew our classic Roo mascot! Join us on Saturday, May 20 at the Kansas City Zoo. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and our special program begins at 11 a.m.. Join us on Bluey's Deck in Australia to view the UMKC Roo exhibit area and take a selfie at our Classic Roo selfie spot. You'll be able to tour the kangaroo exhibit upgrades and see the Roos in action! We'll have swag and special snacks available during the program.

Specially priced UMKC Roo at the Zoo tickets are available for $14 ($12.50 for residents of Clay and Jackson counties). Bring your UMKC ID or a printout of this invitation to the Zoo Box Office.
