On this 2-hour, 1 mile Volker Campus walk, attendees will learn stories from the darker side of UMKC’s past. Was the University Playhouse haunted by the ghost of a dead actress? Why are there monsters painted on the walls of Haag Hall? Who killed UKC beauty queen Leila Welsh? What really happened in Epperson House?
The tour takes about two hours and is a one mile of casual walking. Please wear comfortable shoes.
The tour will be capped at 15 people so RSVP early.
The tour will meet at the south entrance of Atterbury Student Success Center.
Metered parking is available on level five of the Cherry Street Parking Structure and in the front lot of Atterbury Student Success Center at the north entrance.
