The Kansas City Saxophone Workshop gives high school students the opportunity to study with renowned performers and instructors. Workshop sessions are designed to help students discover and realize their full artistic potential by building techniques, studying solo classical literature, and expanding their knowledge of the saxophone. Students will also perform with peers in saxophone quartets and large saxophone ensembles coached by the distinguished faculty. For saxophonists auditioning for All-State band, preparing for college auditions, or are just trying to improve, this workshop is a rewarding and fun-filled week!
Tuition includes all in-person classes/chamber rehearsals, masterclasses, faculty performances, and one 45-minute private lesson with Professor Shemon or Dr. Shults. Please note that this fee does not include meals or housing.
