To celebrate the beginning of the Fall 2023 semester, UMSL Libraries is hosting a fun, free, drop-in kickoff event!
On the first Tuesday of classes, stop by the library's tables on the Quad for a variety of snacks, drinks, fun activities, and book raffles. We'll also have some information tables where you can sign up for library events later in the semester, chat with a Personal Librarian, hear about the library's renovation, pick up some swag, and join a library tour!
ACTIVITIES:
- Tours! Starting at 10:15, 11:15, and 12:15, each one lasting roughly 30 minutes
- Make a button using fun designs provided by the library
- Blow bubbles large and small
- Enter our book raffles
- Pose for a photo or selfie using our props
- Meet the Personal Librarian for your discipline
- Sign up for library events and workshops later in the semester
- Chat with the Mercantile Library and State Historical Society
- And, just hang out!
