Opened in 2015, the state of the art UMSL Recreation and Wellness Center offers approximately 100,000 square feet of space for open recreation, intramural sports, and wellness education. It boasts a rock-climbing wall and a pool with lap lanes and play space. The Center is part of Campus Recreation with four main objectives serving as a roadmap to support the mission:

1. To provide recreational offerings in a clean and safe environment that enhances physical well-being for individuals of all abilities.
2. To improve emotional well-being by fostering self-worth, confidence, and diverse expression.
3. To support mental well-being through experiential learning.
4. To encourage social well-being through community interaction.
