As a part of UMKC Engagement Month, we are proud to announce the UniverCities Exchange series, a collaborative effort by UMKC and UMSL to address issues facing our urban communities – from health care to education to the economy and more.



In our first event, Dr. Alexander Garza (B.S. '90), Chief Community Health Officer for SSM Health, presents on the state of public health in Kansas City and St Louis. A panel discussion moderated by Steve Kraske of KCUR's "Up to Date" follows Panelists include:



• Diego Abente, President/CEO, Casa de Salud



• Dr. Jannette Berkley-Patton, Director of UMKC Health Equity Institute



• Riisa Rawlins-Easley, Chief of Staff, St. Louis Regional Health Commission
