“We Read Our Lives”, with Susana Alexander / “La vida se lee”, con Susana Alexander

"We Read Our Lives", with Susana Alexander

Covering the classics of literature in Spanish, Susana Alexander, a renowned Mexican television and film actress, will encourage young audiences to read and teaches the value of language and the history of Hispanic cultures.

Susana Alexander has participated in numerous soap operas, such as Súbete a mi moto and Blind Date, and films such as Grandma's birthday and Grandma's wedding. In addition, she has starred in many plays and dramatic and comedic monologues.

This is a free show and suitable for the whole family. It will be hosted from 6:30-7:30 PM in room 151 of the Miller Nichols Libary on the campus of UMKC (800 E 51st Street). Parking will be available just north of the building in UMKC Lot 4. Registration is required. The first 150 children in attendance will have the opportunity to receive a free book in both English and Spanish from Turn the Page KC.

"La vida se lee", con Susana Alexander

 Acompáñenos en esta travesía con las palabras de Susana Alexander recorriendo los clásicos de la literatura en español, que anima a la lectura a los más jóvenes y enseña el valor de la lengua y la historia de las culturas hispánicas.

Susana Alexander, famosa actriz mexicana de televisión y cine, ha participado en numerosas telenovelas, como Súbete a mi moto y Cita a ciegas, y películas como El cumple de la abuela y La boda de la abuela. Además, ha protagonizado multitud de obras de teatro y monólogos dramáticos y cómicos.

Este es un espectáculo gratuito y apto para toda la familia. Se llevará a cabo de 6:30 a 7:30 p. m. en la sala 151 de la biblioteca Miller Nichols en el campus de UMKC (800 E 51st Street). El estacionamiento estará disponible justo al norte del edificio en el lote 4 de UMKC. Se requiere registro. Los primeros 150 niños que asistan tendrán la oportunidad de recibir un libro gratis en inglés y español de Turn the Page KC.
