The Kansas City Symphony's Mobile Music Box is the perfect stage for musicians to present music programs throughout Kansas City and the ideal setting for UMKC Neighbors to welcome new and returning students to campus before an outdoor showing of Marvel Studio's Black Panther!
These events are free and family-friendly! The opening concert will be performed just outside Durwood Stadium. Guests are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs. The evening's movie will be shown inside the stadium.
Participants are also encouraged to attend UMKC Day at the Kansas City Symphony on October 9th, a new signature event for UMKC's Engagement Month. Discount tickets are available to the UMKC Community for $12, and all students enrolled in the First Semester Experience are eligible to receive a free ticket. Still, looking for more? The Kansas City Symphony plans to perform the Score of Marvel Studio's Black Panther in the spring of 2023!
