Dr. David Samson, Missouri S&T’s band director, is excited to open the music program’s season with a performance by the University Wind Symphony.
This semester’s ensemble is filled with talented new members eager to share their skills. The concert program will feature a wide range of selections, including two new works, a well-loved hymn tune, memorable film music, and a classic piece from the early wind band repertoire.
The University Wind Symphony, under Dr. Samson’s direction, will present its fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5, in Leach Theatre.
Tickets:
- $5 for the public
- Free for youth (ages 18 and under)
- Free for Missouri S&T students with a valid ID
Tickets are available online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by phone at 573-341-4219 (service fees may apply for online purchases). Tickets may also be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office beginning one hour before the performance.
