Organized by the Counseling and Social Advocacy Center at UMSL, this is an in-person workshop for mental and behavioral health counselors and other care givers, as well as students in this field. The event will be held in the Ward E. Barnes Building on the UMSL South Campus. A yoga/meditation session will be included in the program.

Description: The workshop will be about how we care of others, tertiary trauma, how to care for ourselves.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify tertiary trauma experienced by counselors and other care givers
2. Identify and commit to ways that we can incorporate self care into our lives for a more balanced life.
3. Implement skills for grounding self by participating in a yoga/meditation session.
