Workshop: Student Centered Trauma Informed Classrooms

This is an in-person workshop. Located in the Ward E. Barnes Building of UMSL’s South Campus. This event is organized by the Counseling and Social Advocacy Center at UMSL. 

Presenter: Nichole Angieri, MA, PLPC

Description: This workshop will provide professionals the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of how to create classroom environments that are Student Centered and Trauma Informed. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to create work plans for creating SCTI classroom environments.

Learning Objectives:

1.Participants will learn what a SCTI classroom is.

2. Participants will learn how to create classroom policies and procedures that are SCTI.

3. Participants will learn how to design and furnish a SCTI classroom space.

Cost: $30; professionals. Students are asked to email csac@umsl.edu for discounted student pricing.
