ExploreMIR is a tri-county tourism event between Madison, Iron and Reynolds counties in Southeast Missouri.
Professional EDGE
In the Advanced Professional Development course, students work with a professional partner through MU Extension, the MU Office of Service-Learning, or corporate partners across the state to complete a professional project. Students address the business needs of the partner organization, and dedicate approximately 30 hours per student per semester to this effort.
Arts in the Park & Mistletowne Market Festivals
For the past four years, the MU Extension Community Arts Program has partnered with the City of North Kansas City to present Arts in the Park and the Mistletowne Market festivals.
Missouri SBDC International Trade Services
In support of the Missouri SBDC mission, the International Trade services provides export education for new-to-export companies, and companies in need of additional international trade support to increase exports out of Missouri, in turn supporting economic growth and job support in the state.
Missouri SBDC for Agriculture, Food and Forestry
The Missouri Small Business Development Center for Agriculture, Food and Forestry partners with agri-entrepreneurs to develop and expand businesses. As part of an interdisciplinary partnership, the Missouri SBDC, designated specialists within Agriculture and Environment Extension, to work together with business counselors to connect new ideas to successful business structures and initial capital.

Dinosaurs and Cavemen Science Expo
The Dinosaurs & Cavemen Science Expo is an annual fair held on or off campus that brings researchers, community partners and the public together to celebrate paleontology, natural history and science through activities, demonstrations and guest speakers.
