UMSL jazz camp is designed for enthusiastic instrumental music students who want to learn more about jazz theory, improvisation, history, and performance. Participants will work on improving their improvisational skills, overall musicianship and will cover the fundamentals of effective playing skills and efficient practice.
The Emerging Leaders Program, conference and internship, collaborates with the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus to provide high school students across Missouri with an opportunity to learn about the legislative process through hands-on activities and experiences. The program also provides college preparation and access resources for participating students.
