Youth Development Collaborative Research Pitch Competition
The UM System Office of Engagement and Missouri AfterSchool Network will host a collaborative research pitch competition with $25,000 in prizes available to support the creation of a new or expansion of a current research project focused on youth development and well-being.
Youth and Mental Health – The Center for Evidence-Based Youth Mental Health: A Model for Improving Access to Quality Care for Missouri’s Youth
Dr. Kristin Hawley will describe the current youth mental health crisis in the U.S., where more than one in five youth suffers from an impairing mental health concern, and many families are unable to access effective care.
Follow up Dr. Hawley’s presentation with further discussion in one of five breakout sessions based on participant interest area.
