UMKC plays a leading role in the Regional Government to University Coalition (G2U), a collaborative effort to build pipelines from local colleges and universities to high-demand public service careers. G2U's primary sponsor, the Volcker Alliance is hosting a virtual fair on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, from noon to 4 p.m., showcasing federal employment opportunities for college students and recent graduates. This fair is free to all students and federal employers.
Students and Recent Graduates:
Are you passionate about public service and eager to make a difference in your community and the world? Have you thought about working in government, but aren’t sure how or where to start? Are you interested in making an impact?
Join us Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, from noon to 4 p.m., for a virtual career fair focused on career opportunities in the federal government for current students and recent graduates, both in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country. You will have the opportunity to speak directly with federal recruiters eager to meet mission-driven students like you. Students can learn more and register HERE.
Employers:
Employers and recruiters from all federal agencies are invited to participate, whether you have positions open now or are interested in speaking with potential candidates about future openings. Through the Brazen online platform, employers will be able to review student resumes, host group chats, conduct one-on-one networking conversations, tag your “booth” with high-need skills and relevant majors, and automatically follow up with promising candidates. In January, the Volcker Alliance will host an orientation through Zoom on how to use the platform to take full advantage of this opportunity.
Employers can learn more and register HERE.
