STEM CUBS Camp for K to 5th Grade Students

Join us for a fun hands-on way to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). In the past, students have worked on projects like building a structurally sound bridge, developing coating for pills, understanding features of buoyancy and static electricity, creating towers, and more.

STEM CUBS Camp for K to 5th Grade Students on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri- Columbia

Join us for a fun hands-on way to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). In the past, students have worked on projects like building a structurally sound bridge, developing coating for pills, understanding features of buoyancy and static electricity, creating towers, and more. 

STEM Cubs prioritizes accepting students attending Title 1 schools and traditionally/historically underserved and underrepresented in STEM to provide opportunity for STEM exposure. 

Sessions will be led by Access and Leadership Development, the College of Education and the College of Engineering. Enthusiastic Education Student Facilitators will also help carry out activities with the children. Snacks will be provided for the participants. 

Please note that students must be at least 5 years old to participate in STEM Cubs.

Application deadline is February 13th.

Spots are limited, we will notify you via email if your application was selected by February 18th.

Camp 1: 8:45 a.m. Check-in, Activities start at 9 a.m., Pick-up at Noon 

Camp 2 : 12:45 p.m. Check-in, Activities start at 1 p.m., Pick-up at 4 p.m.
